Vice President, Director of Asset Management

Colleen Brown-Rumsey joined FSO Capital Partners in 2025, bringing nearly 25 years of multifamily expertise with a background rooted in operations.  Her career spans a broad spectrum of asset types—from Class A new-build lease-ups, including mid-rises and build-to-rent communities, to repositioning and rebranding older properties through value-add strategies.

Colleen began her multifamily career with Alliance Residential Company, later serving as Senior Portfolio Director at Asset Living, and most recently as Regional Vice President with RPM Living. Her leadership is distinguished by extensive management expertise, a proven ability to drive operational excellence, and a passion for cultivating high-performing teams. She takes pride in mentoring associates, supporting professional growth, and championing numerous promotions and career advancements throughout her tenure.

Colleen served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Multihousing Association (AMA), sat on several committees throughout her career and has been honored with several nominations and won prestigious awards, including the distinction of Top Regional Vice President. 



She also holds an Arizona Real Estate License and is a proud 2021 Lyceum graduate. Prior to entering multifamily, Colleen successfully owned and operated a recruiting business, specializing in executive level positions for developers and construction within the multifamily sector—experience that sharpened her ability to identify and develop top-tier talent. She completed her studies in business management and commerce in Canada and relocated to the United States 25 years ago, laying the foundation for her multifamily career.
